I really appreciate the input. Usually I'm still messing with the figure after the model has finished the pose and go in and do the background while the model is on break between poses. I've had a few people at the figure sessions I go to tell me that they've never seen anyone lay down paint with the blistering speed that I use.
Jesse, "Loathsome One" and Eoghan, thank you so much for your comments and interest. Micah and PJ, welcome to the blog and thanks for joining. I probably won't post till January but I wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has participated in the blog and taken the time to comment and give me feedback. I am so grateful to all of you. Its so amazing to get your ideas and see the kick-ass art that all of you are putting together as well. I expect to see all of you doing fantastic work in 2011.
For 15 minutes work you managed to create some pro level watercolours, hardly sloppy :3
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI showed your work around to a few folks here at my office tonight. Lots of oohs and aahs.
Great paints Pal! They are so soft and elegant! If you don't mind show to us the process!
ReplyDeleteBest Cheers!
It is amazing what you can do in only 15 minutes in live drawing!
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast you do between shadows and light. Great colors!
Thanks guys,
